Clean, modern apartments specifically designed for the all-male clientele who are still homeless at the time of graduation from treatment. Each
apartment can house three tenants. In order to be eligible for housing, clients must meet several eligibility requirements. All tenants must:
- Either be in our treatment program or a graduate of FSH
- Be screened and approved by First Step House staff
- Be clean and sober for a minimum of 90 days
- Be employed or have a legitimate income source
- Maintain personal hygiene and living habits
- Obtain approval of occupants of proposed apartments
- Read and agree to and sign rental agreement
- Remain drug and alcohol free while living in apartment
- Pay rent in a timely manner
- Participate in regular aftercare attendance
