Residential Treatment
First Step House's Residential treatment program is conducted by a trained staff of Masters-level and state licensed substance
abuse counselors. The program consists of 25 hours of intense weekly therapy, community service networking, room and board, aftercare,
and long-term follow-up service. Clients will participate in a wide variety of therapeutic activities, including:
- Weekly therapy
- Group therapy
- Individual counseling
Additionally, clients will acquisition and be coached in a variety of life skills, including:
- Addiction education
- Relapse prevention
- Problem-solving and decision-making
- Communication skills
- Emotional management
- Goal setting and achievement
- Community service networking
The Residential treatment program also features the following additional benefits:
